Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Coordinator/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for providing financial, procurement, and accounts payable support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Purchase goods, services, and equipment needed by our clients through the SAP SRM Shopping Cart, Online Payment Requests, and Procurement card.
    • Classify orders and apply appropriate procurement methods, such as ECPO, ANPO, RADP, or CAPP, and utilize the eMarketplace and Amazon Business portals within SAP.
  • Accounts Payable
    • Track shipments of unreceived goods by contacting the vendor or shipping agency to determine the status of shipment and resolve any issue causing a delay in delivery.
    • Contact vendors to investigate and resolve any delays in payment.
  • Financial Operations
    • Create and maintain spreadsheets that allow for accurate tracking, payment, and allocation of orders placed using a Procurement Card and shopping carts.
    • Monitor service contracts on all office, computer, and lab equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with JHU and federal purchasing policies, determine allowability and allocability of expenses to sponsored or non-sponsored budgets, and determine allocations based on effort when applicable.
  • Order Management
    • Enter orders for the Johns Hopkins Supply Store into SAP after labs physically fill out an order form and pick up their products.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in financial operations, procurement, or accounts payable.
  • Experience with SAP and procurement software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
