Financial Statements Preparation: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses. Aid in the examination of financial data and provide valuable insights to management for informed decision-making.
Payables and Receivables Management: Supervise accounts payable and receivable operations, encompassing invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, and collections. Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts as necessary.
Budgeting Support: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting relevant financial data, analyzing trends, and preparing budget variance reports. Contribute to the development of financial models and projections to support strategic planning efforts.
Performance Analysis: Execute financial analysis and performance reporting to assess business performance, identify trends, and evaluate variances against budgeted expectations. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for management as required.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Support the coordination of external audits and provide assistance during audit engagements by preparing audit schedules and addressing inquiries.
Efficiency Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the accounting function. Implement best practices and streamline workflows to optimize productivity and accuracy.
Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with other departments, including operations, human resources, and procurement, to gather financial information, resolve issues, and support organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA certification or progress towards certification is preferred but not mandatory.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally in a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
