Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Management: Ensure adherence to safety and food safety protocols across all production units. Identify and rectify deficiencies promptly.
  • Production Oversight: Manage the production area, ensuring the shipping team operates efficiently. Understand and execute batch processing as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality team to monitor manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain all production records in accordance with retention policies.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal and external food production regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and supervise the production crew, coordinating workflow to meet daily targets.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all production tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Communication: Liaise with warehouse personnel and office staff to address production-related inquiries and escalate urgent issues as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
  • Reporting: Present daily production reports to management, highlighting key metrics related to volume, safety, and quality.

People Development:
Foster a supportive environment by developing team members, providing necessary training, and aligning individual goals with team objectives. Manage timecards and PTO requests, ensuring timely payroll processing.

Job Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and inventory control.
  • Physical capability to handle materials as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
