As a key member of the School of Education's Business Operations and Research Administration Team, this individual will provide critical support to Principal Investigators and faculty in pre-award and post-award research administration and financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage complex proposal budgets, ensuring compliance with university and sponsor policies.
  • Partner with Principal Investigators to package proposal materials, complete electronic review and approval, and facilitate award setup.
  • Manage all post-award activities, including financial reporting, award close-out, and ongoing fund management.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis, budget management, and guidance on payroll, personnel, and procurement matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with UCR, UC, and sponsor policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure successful contract and grant administration.
Requirements
  • Strong financial management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with a focus on fostering relationships with funding agencies and faculty.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and meet the needs of a diverse team.
  • Current work authorization and ability to comply with university policies and collective bargaining agreements.

  • Competitive salary range of $71,100 - $128,700 annually, with an expected pay scale of up to $95,000 annually.
