Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients, verify information, and obtain necessary signatures
  • Answer and screen telephone calls, and route them to the appropriate staff member
  • Collect patient co-payments, deductibles, and payments, and assist with account balances and questions
  • Reconcile cash and payment drawers, and prepare daily bank deposits
  • Follow through on physician orders, including providing work excuses and obtaining medical records
  • Assemble and maintain patient records and charts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in office functions or customer service, with a preference for medical office experience
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
