Position Overview

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the primary point of contact for patients within our medical facility. This role is essential in bridging communication between healthcare providers and patients, ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors with a warm demeanor.
  • Conduct patient registration, confirming essential information and securing necessary signatures.
  • Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Coordinate with the answering service to guarantee timely reminder calls are made.
  • Facilitate collection of patient co-payments and assist with financial inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate cash and payment records, preparing daily deposits.
  • Support physicians by processing medical records and issuing work excuses as required.
  • Organize and uphold patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Experience: A minimum of one year in office administration or customer service is preferred, with two years in a medical office setting being advantageous.
