Job Overview

Unified Business Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage the construction project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Commercial and Recreational construction industry, with a focus on civil and horizontal construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including Engineering Technicians and Contractors, to ensure timely submission and review of project schedules.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of contractor schedules, comparing completion dates to project milestones and identifying potential delays.
  • Review and evaluate construction contracts, proposing reasonable construction durations.
  • Oversee project progress, ensuring contract compliance and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Provide analysis schedules, critical path method, and software usage to project team members.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in civil and horizontal construction projects.
  • Education: degree and professional qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering preferred. Other construction related certifications & Training.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction management.
  • Ability to oversee sewer bypass pumping and work categories to include the following: open cut sewer replacement, cured in place pipe sewer rehabilitation, pipe bursting sewer rehabilitation and horizontal directional drilling pipe replacement.
  • Prior experience on construction projects that are similar in scope, magnitude and complexity.
  • Work with federal construction projects is highly desired.
  • OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required.
  • Must be computer literate and able to work on Microsoft (MS) Project, Word and Excel.
  • Experience working in remote locations.
  • Campground experience a plus*
  • Experience working on projects with high pedestrian traffic.

  • Horizontal drilling: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Commute: Mount Rainier National Park, WA (Required)

Willingness to Travel: 25% (Required)
