Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Patient Care Liaison / Hospitality Support Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that patients receive competent and compassionate care while preserving their comfort and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fostering a patient-centered environment by building positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff.
  2. Addressing patient needs throughout their visit, including responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, running errands, and providing meals.
  3. Welcoming all patients and visitors warmly, and preparing and serving refreshments.
  4. Coordinating and prioritizing workflow within the Hospitality Department to ensure efficiency.
  5. Upholding the mission and objectives of Hospitality Health ER.
  6. Planning daily operations for the Hospitality Department, anticipating patient and facility needs to deliver an exceptional experience.
  7. Completing necessary administrative tasks, including maintaining logs and documenting resource usage accurately.
  8. Assuming leadership responsibilities during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
  9. Engaging in community marketing initiatives to promote our services.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in customer service, particularly in high-pressure healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of clinical care practices and patient privacy regulations.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the scheduling needs of the department.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Demonstrated competency in physical assessment within a specified timeframe, as evaluated by supervisory staff.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service and direct patient care is preferred.
