Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Director to join our team at Sojourn Suites PDX. As the direct supervisor of all front desk staff, you will be responsible for ensuring proper completion of front desk duties and overseeing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Front Desk Operations: Supervise front desk staff, coordinate activities, and ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Revenue Management: Analyze rate variance, monitor credit reports, and maintain close observation of daily house count to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
  • Supervision and Training: Train new front desk department personnel, provide guidance and support, and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A.A. associate degree or 2+ years in related experience or field, 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience, and strong computer skills.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to apply common sense, empathy, and understanding to carry out instructions and provide delegation to staff, and good understanding of property management software (PMS).
Benefits and Salary
