Position Summary and Requirements

Call Center Agent

We are looking for a Call Center Agent who will provide essential clerical support to ensure that all patients receive efficient and high-quality care. Our team is committed to collaboration and excellence in patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the reception area, answer incoming calls, and interact with patients and healthcare providers.

• Schedule, cancel, and modify patient appointments as needed.

• Check in patients and accurately document their registration details.

• Verify insurance information and patient demographics.

• Maintain and organize medical records.

• Perform copying and faxing tasks as required.

• Collect co-pays and process payments accurately.

• Enter charges and payments into the system, ensuring daily balancing.

• Adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct and Mission Statement.

• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in using standard office equipment, including copiers and computers.

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with minimal supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient and employee information.
