Job Summary
The Assistant Manager at Frontier Justice is a key member of our management team, responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of our firearms, general retail, and services departments. This role requires a strong leader who can supervise sales staff, manage inventory, and ensure a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the retail floor, ensuring efficient coordination of staff to meet client service standards.
- Identify current and future client requirements through established rapport and strong product knowledge.
- Keep merchandise orderly, in stock, and secure.
- Maintain staff by coaching employees and executing a sales pace that meets company goals.
- Regularly review inventory and minimize loss.
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with all legal and health requirements.
- Ensure the facility and spaces are clean and safe.
- Facilitate special events and classes as directed, with enthusiasm, knowledge, and keen customer service.
- Report daily to the GM on any operational issues that may need addressed.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- High school diploma required, with college hours preferred.
- Preferably 3-5 years of retail management experience.
- Firm grasp of technology to execute accurate job functions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods on the sales floor.
Salary Range
$17-$20 per hour.
