Job Title: Child Care Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at Chesterbrook Academy. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Job Summary:

The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing our proprietary curriculum, which is literacy-based and structured, yet flexible to accommodate the unique needs and interests of each student. You will work closely with our team to develop activities that promote learning and play, while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement our proprietary curriculum and develop activities that promote learning and play
  • Work closely with the team to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition for students
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Associate degree with 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • High School Diploma or GED with an awarded CDA (Child Development Associate)
