We are seeking a passionate and skilled Twos Lead Teacher to join our team at Chesterbrook Academy. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for coordinating classroom operations and implementing our proprietary curriculum.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of educators who share a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education. As a Twos Lead Teacher, you will have the freedom to be creative and intentional in developing activities that cater to the interests and needs of your students.

Our curriculum is literacy-based and structured, yet flexible enough to allow for innovation and creativity. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community to build strong relationships and provide a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum
  • Develop activities that cater to the interests and needs of students
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community
  • Comply with all state-specific education requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree including 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
  • Associate degree including 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
  • High School Diploma or GED and an awarded CDA (Child Development Associate)
