Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the sales group throughout the South Central Region.
  • Carry out development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management.
  • Develop new business and sales closing techniques.
  • Support the Vice President of Sales with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis.
  • Manage sales P&L responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibility

The position will have 3-4 direct reports.

Travel

Approximately 50% within the territory.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business required.
  • At least 6+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce desired)
  • Demonstrated success in opening new business
  • Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships across inter-company departments and divisions
  • Ability to travel overnight when needed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
