Regional Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Training Specialist to join our team at Miller Pipeline. As a key member of our compliance and safety department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure our employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training programs for compliance, safety, and quality initiatives
- Conduct technical training and operator qualification evaluations for new hires and current employees
- Act as a subject matter expert on areas related to our major operations
- Validate trainees' knowledge and skills through evaluation processes
- Document training, certification, and qualification records
- Collaborate with regional VP, General Manager, and Director of Corporate Compliance to identify training needs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years of gas pipeline field work experience
- Technical or post-secondary education in a related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to use visual aids
- Leadership skills, critical thinking, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment
We also prefer candidates with:
- 2+ years of experience as a trainer of technical content
- Regulated pipeline operations experience
- Lead others in reaching common company goals
