Produce Department Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Produce Department Team Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to new and existing team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing team members, focusing on produce department operations, customer service, and sales techniques.
- Training Coordination: Work closely with team leaders and store trainers to schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring timely completion of new member connections and operational learning pathways.
- Team Support: Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and helping them to improve their skills and performance.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members, store leaders, and regional offices, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with training goals and objectives.
- Experience: 6 months of Whole Foods Market experience or equivalent retail training experience.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a passion for delivering high-quality training programs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
The Produce Department Team Trainer will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to temperatures, chemicals, and physical demands. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
