Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. as a Sanitation Human Resources Supervisor - 3rd Shift. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of personnel policies and practices at our assigned location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resource Administration: Supervise the administration of personnel policies and practices, including the preparation of separation notices and conducting exit interviews.
  • Program Development: Recommend program changes or enhancements to meet human resource requirements and improve employee relations.
  • Employee Relations: Partner with management to advise and counsel on employee issues, investigate conflicts, and communicate with employees regarding questions, issues, or concerns.
  • Training and Development: Oversee training throughout the plant, including new hire orientation, qualification phase, and annual training, ensuring 100% compliance with alchemy training.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the work performance of trainers, classroom instructors, and clerks, and oversee production trainers to ensure successful new hire training.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship to trainers to ensure that all new hires are assigned a trainer when placed on the production floor.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Disciplinary Procedures: Perform disciplinary procedures, including verbal warnings and terminations, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or additional related work experience in lieu of education.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting.
  • Skills: Analytical skills, strong communication and leadership skills, self-motivation, high sense of urgency, ability to work under high stress situations, and trustworthy with confidential material.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Human Resource systems, Internet software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Payroll Database software.
