Job Summary

Serves as a key member of the Global Communications Leadership Team, driving communications strategies that support Brown-Forman's business objectives.

Acts as a strategic communications partner to the Executive Leadership Team, providing proactive counsel to address business and communications needs.

Inspires and empowers teams to craft and share compelling stories and deliver communications excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute communications strategies in support of business objectives.
  2. Provide strategic communications counsel to the Executive Leadership Team.
  3. Lead a team of communications professionals to support execution of communications activities.
  4. Partner with the Executive Communications Director to reinforce and cascade ELT/enterprise communications messages.
  5. Lead the communications operations and events team responsible for enterprise-wide communications channel strategy and execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in a business-facing communications position.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams, inspiring confidence, trust, and respect.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills combined with hands-on ability to execute plans effectively.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and deliver communications excellence.
  • Demonstrate high levels of cultural understanding, agility, and ability in all communications work.
