Job Overview

Summary/Objective

This role involves overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory oversight, shipping logistics, and ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of warehouse processes and actively engage in daily operations. This position requires professional supervision and direction of warehouse personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in all receiving operations and system functionalities, maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Manage inventory organization and identification, address discrepancies, and guarantee timely movement of stock.
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
  • Supervise shipping processes and logistics to facilitate timely dispatch of products.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management, maintaining professionalism in interactions with customers as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, managing personnel matters in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Foster a safe and respectful workplace culture.
  • Conduct team meetings to enhance engagement in safety and operational matters.
  • Ensure staff are adequately trained and competent in their roles.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Supervisory Duties

  • Oversee all activities of warehouse personnel.
  • Manage human resource functions related to staff.
  • Accountable for staff performance and competency.

Work Environment

  • This position operates within a warehouse setting, utilizing standard equipment such as forklifts and material handling tools.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

  • Ability to bend, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders, and operate material handling equipment.
  • Work in varying temperature conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours

  • This is a full-time role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel may be required for this position.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred; or an associate degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred; or an associate degree with 5 or more years of experience in inventory management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or distribution is preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

This position requires eligibility to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
