Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intake Certification Specialist to join our team at the Community Renewal Team. This role is responsible for supporting the Agency's needs by scheduling customer appointments, conducting customer intake, and performing tasks necessary to ascertain customer eligibility per program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency cases within 24 hours of customer inquiry
  • Provide quality customer service and respond to non-emergency customer inquiries as stipulated in program guidelines
  • Schedule and reschedule customer intake appointments as needed
  • Conduct customer intake and review customer applications and accompanying documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Refers customers to internal and external resources in support of comprehensive attention to customer need
  • Process energy applications using DSS procedural instructions and CRT's Quality Assurance procedures
  • Prepare program reports in accordance with program requirements and agency need
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in human services or related field from an accredited two-year college or university preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, strong listening, oral and written communication skills, and experience with non-profit or community volunteering
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid certifications to sharpen and refresh job skills
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (12-20 pounds).
