Job Title: Community Support Team Substance Use Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Substance Use Professional to join our Community Support Team in Durham County. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to clients in the community, helping them navigate their mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

* Meet with clients in the Durham community, providing psychoeducation and assisting with crisis interventions
* Collaborate with the Team Lead to develop behavioral and substance use disorder treatment interventions
* Assist with the development of relapse prevention and disease management strategies
* Coordinate initial and ongoing assessment activities
* Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings

Requirements:

* 2 years' experience working directly with adults with mental health and substance use disorders
* 2 years' experience working in a community mental health setting (preferred)
* CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC certification
* Excellent clinical skills, including evidence-based practices and diagnostic information
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
