Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at BayMark Health Services as a Part Time Dispensing Nurse LPN/LVN. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in dispensing prescribed medications to patients in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.

As a Dispensing Nurse, you will work closely with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Your responsibilities will include administering daily medication to patients, maintaining dispensing equipment, and managing medication inventory. You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining accurate records and reports, as well as ensuring compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
  • Maintain dispensing equipment and manage medication inventory.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
  • Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Provide daily assessment of patients.
  • Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.

Qualifications:

  • Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of North Carolina.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
