Job Title: Substance Use Professional - Community Support Team

SouthLight Healthcare is seeking a skilled Substance Use Professional to join our Community Support Team in Durham County, NC. As a member of our team, you will work with clients in the community, providing psychoeducation, crisis interventions, and behavioral and substance use disorder treatment interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients in the Durham community, providing psychoeducation and crisis interventions as needed.
  • Assist the Team Lead with behavioral and substance use disorder treatment interventions.
  • Develop relapse prevention and disease management strategies with clients.
  • Coordinate initial and ongoing assessment activities.
  • Attend weekly supervision and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience working directly with adults with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Two years' experience working in a community mental health setting, preferred.
  • CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC certification required.
