Job Title: Site EHS Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site EHS Specialist to join our team at ASRC Industrial. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily work crews and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and conduct regular hazard assessments.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with site management and other stakeholders to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in OSHA regulations and compliance.
  • OSHA 500 certification and bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate safety risks.
