Training and Development Specialist

Job Summary

This role supports the Organizational Development team by managing the LMS (Cornerstone) and training management, including scheduling, communication calendar management, data gathering, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Learning Management Systems and Talent Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the company's learning management and professional development systems, retooling them as needed to accommodate changing needs and new instructional technologies.
  • Support talent management programs and processes, including managing data, drafting reports, and tracking progress.
  • Organize all logistics of instructor-led courses, including scheduling, selecting training facilities, producing training materials, and providing multimedia tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in administering training programs and web-based training systems.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Learning Management Systems and Talent Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • LMS experience (Cornerstone preferred).
  • Program/Project Management.
  • Scheduling.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree: Education, Communications, Training and Development, Instructional/Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Required).
