Business Development Manager

NextGen Retail Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion of our market presence. This key role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition & Supervision: Actively supervise and participate in prospecting efforts to generate leads and expand the customer base. Engage with potential clients through meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Sales Development Oversight: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our products or services and their value to clients.
  • Market Insights Management: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and adapt sales strategies. Report findings and recommendations to the sales leadership team.
  • Relationship Building & Mentorship: Lead efforts to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Understand their unique needs and ensure our solutions align with their business objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Foster a deep understanding of our products or services among team members to effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Field Reporting & Review: Regularly review and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Provide detailed reports and analysis to the sales leadership team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a cohesive customer experience and alignment with company objectives.
  • Customer Education: Supervise efforts to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products or services, equipping clients with the information they need to make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience and proven success in field sales or leadership of teams selling our key categories: Office Supplies, Janitorial & Sanitation, Office Furniture, and other key facility programs.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative, personal accountability, and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving sales environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
