We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Controls Specialist to join our team at Citizens Business Bank. As a key member of our internal audit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the administration of activities related to IT internal/external audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Comply with and stay abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Assist in coordinating IT efforts to deploy security awareness programs and communicate changes related to IT policies and procedures.
- Identify and detect potential cyber-risk/cyber-fraud and recommend control procedures to prevent and deter fraud and risk exposure.
- Assist in ensuring high-risk areas and functions of IT are identified for proper management oversight and considered by the Chief Auditor for IT audit schedules.
- Maintain accurate and current audit and internal control procedures, reporting, and related documentation.
- An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and distractions.
Salary Range: $20.00 To 24.08 Hourly
40 hours per week.
