Position Summary

Abidi Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer. This individual will play a crucial role in the design and execution of electrical systems across multiple projects. As a key member of our production team, you will utilize AutoCAD and Revit for daily electrical design tasks.

This position is pivotal within our organization, requiring a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. You will also contribute to the internal training and development initiatives, ensuring the growth of both yourself and your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating comprehensive electrical system design drawings that comply with relevant codes.
  • Collaborating to resolve complex engineering challenges, including design conflicts and material suitability.
  • Preparing technical and financial proposals for prospective projects.
  • Keeping senior management informed of critical design decisions and ensuring client objectives are met.
  • Building strong relationships with the design team to foster effective collaboration.
  • Responding promptly to requests and ensuring accurate communication of information.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, engineering drafting standards, and electrical engineering standards.
  • Strong understanding of the construction process and the ability to interpret construction drawings.
  • Proven ability to take on significant responsibilities within a team-oriented environment while also working independently.
  • Excellent technical expertise in electrical systems, with the capability to investigate and resolve technical issues.
