KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Create precise electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts for commercial applications.
- Evaluate electrical designs for optimization and cost efficiency.
- Design and maintain 3D representations of electrical systems for various projects.
- Work in conjunction with other trades to ensure cohesive integration of electrical systems.
- Engage with project leaders and supervisors to clarify design specifications.
- Guarantee that all schematics comply with company standards, regulations, and specifications.
- Perform site inspections to ensure accurate drafting and documentation.
- Consistent and reliable on-site presence is essential.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical engineering or drafting.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and related guidelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in drafting.
- Capability to convert engineering concepts into clear schematics.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Proven teamwork skills.
This position may require prolonged computer use and travel to various job sites. While on-site, exposure to diverse conditions may be encountered, including outdoor environments, mechanical/electrical components, heights, weather variations, and noise levels.
