Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Protection Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Protection Systems Engineer, you will provide power system protection services, including system model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings development, area coordination studies, standards development, relay operation analysis, and technical reviews of drawings and relay settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain power system models for short circuit analysis and relay settings
  • Perform area coordination studies and relay operation analysis
  • Develop and implement standards for power system protection
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in power system protection engineering
  • Experience with SEL relay settings and ASPEN OneLiner or PSSE CAPE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to quality and accuracy
  • P.E. license preferred
