Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Services Technician to join our team at our Ambulatory Care Centers. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting pathology specimens, registering and processing orders, and ensuring the integrity of specimens for delivery to our laboratory facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process pathology specimens at our Ambulatory Care Centers
  • Verify patient and specimen identification, and ensure the appropriateness of specimens and orders
  • Organize laboratory workflow and prioritize processing and preparation of specimens
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, and ensure proper PAR levels of supplies
  • Utilize equipment, instruments, and computer systems to test requests, accession, and package specimens
  • Perform specified procedures within established testing methods and responsibilities
  • Manage patient wait times and expectations, and demonstrate service excellence
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Phlebotomist or equivalent education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Graduate Phlebotomy or Certificate from an accredited institution preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
Work Schedule

Varying hours, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with no weekends or call requirements.
