Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks, following operational manuals, and adhering to manufacturer's instructions.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment, both mechanically and electronically, to identify and repair issues in a timely manner.
- Parts Management: Control and minimize downtime by maintaining accurate records, submitting purchase requisitions, and identifying parts needed for repairs.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with Maintenance Supervisor and Operations management to ensure seamless workflow and minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Technical Skills: Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, both mechanically and electrically, and have experience with electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Tools and Equipment: Must have personal hand tools and a tool box, and be able to use a computer to enter daily information and MP2 data.
- Availability: Must be able to work night shifts and weekends, and be available on call as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of AC, DC drives motors, motor controls, sensors, and electrical wiring, as well as experience with PLCs and drives, motor controls, sensors, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
