As the foremost provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, Healogics serves over 300,000 patients annually across a network of more than 600 locations. With the increasing prevalence of chronic conditions such as obesity and diabetes, alongside a growing elderly population, the demand for specialized wound care is on the rise.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee clinical operations within the Wound Care Center, ensuring comprehensive patient care assessments and planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve optimal healing outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and guidelines, including those set forth by accrediting organizations and CMS.
  • Lead case management efforts, providing guidance and oversight to nursing staff and other clinical personnel.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement while adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate staff development through training and mentorship, fostering a culture of recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate financial and budgetary aspects of program objectives, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current RN license, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) as a minimum requirement; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of RN experience, with two or more years preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience and wound care certification are advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in BLS and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and build effective teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and hospital database systems.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require:

  • Extended periods of stationary work and computer use.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Mobility within a patient care environment, with exposure to various hazards.

Work Environment:

The RN Care Coordinator will primarily work in an office and patient care setting, with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other clinical hazards.
