Job Summary

The Clinical Supervisor Nursing is a key role in the Medical Center, responsible for coordinating and providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. This position operationalizes the objectives, policies, and procedures of the Medical Center and Clinical Services for a specific shift, ensuring accountability for monitoring all department activity, including patient flow, staffing, assignment of care, and staff development.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Operationalize the objectives, policies, and procedures of the Medical Center and Clinical Services.
  • Monitor department activity, including patient flow, staffing, assignment of care, and staff development.
  • Assume accountability for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Evidence of enrollment in a BSN program.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Unit-specific certifications as required.
  • Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification.
  • Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical nursing skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $71,000 - $114,000
