Career Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Career Coach to join our team at KRA Corporation. As a Career Coach, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their employment goals and succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Career Counseling and Coaching: Work with clients to identify their career goals and develop a personalized plan to achieve them.
- Conduct Intake and Eligibility Determinations: Assess clients' employment and training needs and abilities through interviewing, testing, and other methods.
- Enter Data and Manage Client Information: Accurately enter client data into our participant information system and manage client information to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Develop Individual Employment Plans: Guide clients through the preparation of individual employment plans (IEPs) based on their specific career and educational goals.
- Counsel Clients on Labor Market Trends and Job Opportunities: Provide clients with information on local labor market trends, available job opportunities, training programs, and other services provided by partners.
- Conduct Workshops and Presentations: Deliver orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and other group presentations to clients.
- Maintain Accurate Client Files: Ensure that client files contain all required eligibility documents and meet compliance requirements with all policies and procedures.
- Administer Assessments and Inventories: Administer reading and mathematics appraisals, career interest inventories, and aptitude assessments to clients to determine their occupational interests and career paths.
- Provide Post-Exit Follow-Up Services: Offer 12-month post-exit follow-up services to clients, including retention and supportive services, to ensure they are meeting their employment goals.
- Meet Program Benchmarks: Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks, completing all required reports.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. The degree requirement may be substituted for eight (8) years of professional work experience.
- Experience and Skills: A minimum of 2 years of experience combining elements of training, counseling, and/or case management is required. Possess substantial career coaching and case management experience.
- Personal Computer Literacy: Personal computer literacy, including effective use of the Internet, email, video conferencing, and Microsoft Office Products, is required.
