Responsibilities- Delivering compassionate nursing care as a Practical Nursing Specialist in post-acute care settings.
- Monitoring and assessing patients' physical and mental health, including vital signs.
- Conducting resident intakes and documenting medical histories and health concerns.
- Assisting with medication administration and verification, tracking usage and effects.
- Creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
- Assisting with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy tasks.
- Managing medical supplies and ensuring proper inventory levels.
- Collaborating with staff to orient and train new team members.
- Valid Ohio state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist.
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a nursing or related role.
