Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of daily financial activities using spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Process payments to vendors through online banking systems.
  • Digitally organize invoices, receipts, and payment records.
  • Engage with team members regularly through various communication platforms.
  • Report any discrepancies in financial records to senior management.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.
  • Calculate applicable interest and fees as necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll documentation.
  • Support additional projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in navigating online/cloud-based systems, with a strong emphasis on remote work capabilities.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong affinity for numerical data.
  • 1-2 years of relevant educational background or clerical experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft 365, particularly with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in or current studies in accounting.
  • Previous experience in an accounting position.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
