Job Summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an experienced Program Operations Senior Manager to lead a newly formed team responsible for bridging Operations and the P&L in the Compute line of business, driving process rigor into EACs, proposals, and New Product Introductions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a high-performance Compute Program Operations organization
  • Serve as the main point of contact for operations into the Compute line of business
  • Establish a robust framework for assessing operations content on EACs, including risk and opportunity evaluation
  • Refine the basis of estimate process for proposal activities
  • Stakeholder for the business unit make-buy-where board
  • Approval responsibility for the NPI gate process, ensuring production-ready product at handoff point to the factory
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in multiple relevant disciplines, including Business Development, Engineering, and/or Program Management
  • Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DoD and Aerospace Industries
  • Experience converting business area and customer requirements into executable strategies
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, Mendix, and advanced Excel tools
