About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Sales Executive to join our team at MediaNews. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling digital advertising and marketing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities and grow our digital revenue base.
  • Account Management: Work independently to retain and upsell existing clients, managing their campaigns and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in digital products, technology, measurement, and analytics to provide valuable insights to our clients.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide weekly reports on account activity, pipeline, and revenue to ensure we are meeting our business objectives.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Identify client needs and communicate the benefits of our audience-based marketing solutions, negotiating and closing deals to meet our revenue targets.
  • Problem-Solving and Research: Research and provide solutions to client problems, requiring a deep understanding of our digital products and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, systems, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five to eight years of sales experience or experience in an advertising division.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, high-level professional communication skills, and a proven track record of success in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Travel: Travel within our territory to meet with clients and build relationships.
