Job Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) plays a vital role in the delivery of quality medical care in our clinics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, completing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. You will also assist in clinical duties such as taking patient histories, preparing patients for treatment, and taking vital signs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Take patient histories and vital signs
  • Prepare patients for treatment and exams
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Complete paperwork and scheduling tasks
Requirements
  • Certification from an accredited MA program (CMA/RMA/CCMA)
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or Associates Degree or Clinical Training through an accredited healthcare technical institute/school
  • 1 year experience in a CMA/RMA/CCMA role or externship at an accredited MA program
