Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Lutheran Health Physicians. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and procedures
  • Provide patient education and support on health-related topics
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred
  • Previous medical office experience preferred
  • Current certification in CPR and AED required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
Working Conditions
