Medical Support Specialist

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) plays a vital role in the delivery of quality medical care in our clinics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, completing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. You will also assist in clinical duties such as taking and recording patient histories, preparing patients for treatment, and taking vital signs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
* Perform basic clinical duties such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for treatment
Requirements:
* Certification from an accredited MA program (CMA/RMA) within 90 days of employment
* BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* High school diploma or equivalent, or associate's degree or clinical training through an accredited healthcare technical institute/school
* 1 year of experience in a CMA/RMA role or externship at an accredited MA program in a physician's office
