Job Summary:

The Lutheran Medical Group seeks a skilled Clinical Assistant to support our healthcare team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality medical care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting healthcare providers with clinical duties, such as taking patient histories, preparing patients for treatment, and taking vital signs. You will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks, such as answering phones, completing paperwork, and scheduling appointments.

In addition to your clinical and administrative duties, you will act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, maximizing the provider's time and ensuring seamless communication. Your certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is required, and you must obtain certification within 90 days of employment. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is also required.

Licensure: N/A

Experience: 1 (one) Year Experience in CMA/RMA role or Externship at Accredited MA Program in a physician's office; prefer physician office/clinic experience preferred
