Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Wayne Pipe & Supply. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general troubleshooting and support for user workstations, including software and hardware issues.
  • Administer and maintain printers and other peripherals.
  • Manage VoIP/SIP systems, including troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Provision new user workstations, ensuring they are configured and ready for use.
  • Offer troubleshooting assistance for users working with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP software.
  • Assist with the administration of Microsoft Exchange/O365 and Active Directory, including group policy settings.
  • Support users in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF software, and other general office tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Exchange/Office 365, Microsoft OneDrive, Adobe PDF software, and general office technology tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Epicor Prophet 21, is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2016-2022, Active Directory, and group policy management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

  • An Associates degree (2-year) or equivalent Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or related fields.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, on-site position located at our main office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
