Job Title:

Chemical Process Engineer

Job Overview:
This role involves overseeing all aspects of chemical engineering within the facility. The engineer will be tasked with managing daily chemical operations following a comprehensive training period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize chemical processes
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Specify and procure necessary equipment and materials for projects
- Determine specifications for raw materials
- Conduct laboratory analyses

Daily activities will primarily consist of developing procedures, troubleshooting process-related issues, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Skills:
- Expertise in chemical engineering
- Proficiency in process engineering

Job Type:
This is a permanent position.

Work Environment:
This position is fully on-site in Richmond, Virginia. The engineer will supervise a team of five operators, initially working a rotating schedule before transitioning to a standard day shift.
