Job Summary

The Reliability Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the safe and profitable operation of our chemical plants. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, process optimization, and reliability analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures
  • Develop and maintain equipment lubrication programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish and maintain equipment maintenance schedules
  • Develop and implement reliability control plans to drive long-term improvements in safety, environmental, and operational performance
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel on equipment repair and maintenance activities
  • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, including repair reports, bill of materials, and upgrade recommendations
  • Participate in site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with equipment performance troubleshooting and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical/petrochemical plant maintenance and/or reliability engineering
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Proficient use of SAP work management system or similar
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
