Role Overview

As a Senior Housekeeping Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our properties maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your contributions will not only enhance the guest experience but also uphold our reputation as a premier vacation rental provider.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Thoroughly clean and maintain properties according to established company standards.
  2. Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests by ensuring homes are spotless and well-cared for.
  3. Identify and report any damages, creating maintenance requests as needed.
  4. Provide mentorship and support to fellow housekeeping staff.
  5. Conduct inspections of completed cleans to ensure quality.
  6. Maintain open communication with management and team members.
  7. Assist colleagues and management as required.
  8. Support your manager and co-senior housekeepers when necessary.
  9. Collect and dispose of trash and debris.
  10. Meet and maintain established housekeeping metrics.
  11. Attend all required meetings.
  12. Restock consumable items such as toiletries and paper products.
  13. Maintain hot tubs as needed, with training provided.
  14. Other duties as assigned, as each day presents unique challenges.

Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred, but we are willing to train.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable using computers and smart devices, with daily internet access.
