Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed as assigned.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Understand management duties and provide support as needed for the Store Manager.
- Oversee tasks assigned to store team members, ensuring effective delegation.
- Facilitate training for store staff to enhance performance.
- Supervise in-store personnel to guarantee outstanding customer service.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure the store is kept clean and safe for both team members and customers.
- Conduct monthly competitive analysis.
- Participate in and occasionally lead monthly team meetings.
- Manage inventory orders and receiving processes.
- Strive to meet sales and productivity targets set by the Store Manager, including maintaining acceptable gross margin levels.
- Ensure the safe operation of store equipment and fixtures.
- Set a positive example by adhering to company policies.
- Develop promotional strategies to drive store traffic.
- Ensure effective merchandising of end-caps, cross-merchandising, and feature displays.
- Provide helpful customer service by greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Authorize refunds in accordance with company policy.
- Assist with the processing of weekly reports and price adjustments, ensuring timely completion of store tagging.
- Attend and contribute to mandatory monthly meetings.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.
