Field Service Operations Supervisor

As a Supervisor - Field Service at Wesco International, you will be responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day operational objectives of one or more service technicians. Your primary focus will be on managing projects, coordinating team activities, identifying necessary resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion in accordance with customer contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage project development from start to finish, adhering to customer contracts.
- Provide daily guidance to Field Service Supervisors to ensure timely project completion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, directing customer interactions.
- Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and ensure all specifications are met.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times, adhering to safety regulations.
- Complete monthly safety reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business required.
- Forklift certification required, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience (forklift certified) required, 5 years preferred.
- 3 years of supervision experience in a construction environment required, 5 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes required.
- Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products required.
- Strong time management skills required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions required.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment required.
- Geographic mobility and willingness to relocate based on customer projects required.
- Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer needs preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and perform multiple tasks simultaneously preferred.
