Borough Nursing Director Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Borough Nursing Director Assistant to join our team at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. As a key member of our Division of Family and Child Health, you will provide administrative support to our supervisors, staff, and Borough Nursing Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clerical and administrative support to supervisors, staff, and Borough Nursing Director
- Perform responsible clerical work in various administrative and operational areas
- Collect, review, and summarize data and information concerning all initiatives
- Assist with coordination of Regional Training
- Maintain and update New Nurse Orientation and Preceptor schedules
- Compile and prepare all time and personnel records, and other required reports
- Provide oversight of Supplies and Equipment for OSH staff
- Forward changes in OSH Staff school assignments to Central Office Liaisons
- Compile summer school assignments for payroll purposes
- Maintain and coordinate schedule for BND, Supervising Nurses, and field staff
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by twelve semester credits in health education or in health, social or biological sciences
- Or a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, and six months of full-time satisfactory experience in a health promotion or disease intervention/prevention program
- Or a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and four years of full-time satisfactory experience
